Does this mean that you're donning
your Guinan persona, again, for NYE?
If so, make mine Champagne, please.

I have to say that after my final row for the antler lights I feel the need for a double, so my drink this year is a double Mudslide. I'm still pondering what food to bring. Merry Christmas to you all.
As always this is fun! I'll be drinking Long Island Ice Tea out of a pitcher this year...
My food of choice although messy is Alaskan king crab. I have been lucky to find a buffet here that serves it on Fridays. They dont make money on me when I go there. I eat enough for two.

Thanks again for bartendering again Kristine!

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 12.25.16

Post by Kona2 » December 26th, 2016, 11:46 am

Image Whew. The Day After.

You know that point in time during this seasonal celebration when you start longing for a return to the usual schedule, the usual foods and the usual exercise patterns? Yep, I'm there. And, in the overall good balance of things, fortunately the oncoming New Year's celebration gives a reset point universally. For many years now, I have set an annual plan using Jinny Ditzler's Best Year Yet book. Of course, there are some decisions one makes - like getting that second puppy - that impact MANY goals and plans. Meanwhile, get your virtual drink order in...and know that there are SO MANY things that you've accomplished during the past year that are celebration worthy!

MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:

1.75 MM Louis
950 K Will S
800 K Stuart
600 K Stefan

Thanks, everyone, for rowing and ski-erging AND CELEBRATING with us!

Dan O' 3,172 m
Jeff M 4,010 m
Will S 6,031 m
Timo 6,779 m
AJ 7,017 m
Jonas 8,690 m
Louis 10,000 m
Minnie 11,111 m ...a palindrome of the first kind!
Stefan 12,404 m
Stuart 12,754 m
Ed 33,333 m ...a palindrome!

And, from the oldest Goldie Kihei , to the youngest (Duke at 9 weeks old, nephew's puppy)....all were worn out at the end of the day!

What a great pic of the pups! My three rescue misfits (ages 11, 7 and 1.75) were in a similar state by the end of the day. Since we don't go out, like the virtual NY eve party idea. Make mine a Muscle Milk :D . Last, congrats to Ed on besting a million meters for the holiday challenge. Happy holidays to all!

Actually, Jane has volunteered to be our bartender in years past. I'm hoping that she pops in here to collect the drink orders once again. I'm the party organizer - Captain's Call, so to speak.

Oh dearest Tar Bender, please bring on the Banana momma’s and keep them coming. The one’s with real bananas. I will fall to your feet in appreciation. Um, sooner or later.
Last year there was a desert brought that sounded so good. I can’t remember what it was but man!

Ok Guinnan's back ready to mix up holiday drinks again. Here is the deal - either post or PM me whatever drink you think you will be in the mood for this New Years and I will do my best to virtually serve them up New year's Eve.
