A special congratulations to David A. for reaching 200,000 meters in the Holiday Challenge just before his vacation. True enough, I am there too but my pace does not begin to approach his. I am regularly awestruck by how fast he rows these long distances. He is an inspiration even if I am inately incapable of ever matching his rate per 500 meters. He is pushing to go a little faster and at 74 I am happy for that.
