Made it back home alive ... and just in time ... Go Mor Spirit.
And now that I know Mor means Mom in Danish, I'm feeling pretty lucky this Mother's Day weekend.

Image It was a run for the finish....and somewhat fittingly, Nyquist wins and remains undefeated. Richard picks the trifecta. Now we'll see if we have another Triple Crown winner on the make. Hopefully, some of our horses will at least FIND the finish line. What's up with Shagaf and the DNF? Egad.

Meanwhile, Derric has thrown down a half marathon to add to his meter collection. Good work.

Yesterday was one of the training runs on the Missouri River leading up to the MR340 in July. Put in at Washington, MO & got out at St. Charles. Quite a nasty storm at the end :o ! Will have several of these prior to the race, wearing my Garmin to record meters / mileage.

Remember folks your horse may not have been in the Derby. But he or she might be in the Preakness in 2 weeks. I will update horses when they are official. That's only if K2 doesn't mind or She will do it
