It's been 3 years since attaining a personal best in any race catagory, but I broke my pb in the 60 min. catagory yesterday at the mile high sprints. It was a great personal achievement for me having had no treatments for my nhl (non-hodgkins) for over a year now, I feel stronger now than I have over the last 2 years.

I was passed this interesting link that features an interview with a current World and Olympic gold medallist and world and Olympic record holder for rowing. he talks about training using the Concept 2 machines and mentions some numbers like splits and times for certain distances etc.

The tractor seat comment kind of threw me a bit until I looked up Concept2's tractor seat! I had no idea!

Today was the Colorado Bicycle Summit, and I was in downtown Denver for a good portion of the day....and the confetti and fireworks of the previous night were still in the clean up stages. We have a sports cartoonist, Drew Litton, who is always a lot of fun. I'm putting the links to the cartoon before the Super Bowl and the cartoon after the Super Bowl. Was a good game - stressful to watch - but with a very satisfying conclusion.
