Way to row, Ed!

Btw, planning on putting the ArMOONda graphic together as an entity. Takes time though.

Celebrating the older Golden's birthday today....Kihei is 12, and I now know what a gift it is for us to have them for longer than 10 years. It just doesn't happen that often any more. So we celebrate and sing happy birthday just like with people. Goofy, but heartfelt. Dogs know.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to check in and say hi.

I've been dealing with several pretty bad cases of tennis elbow (right arm) and golf elbow (left arm) for months now which has prevented me from rowing and participating in the challenges and the sad thing is I don’t even play golf or tennis. Rest, NSAIDs and ice did little to relieve that pain and weakness, so I moved on to PT (wrist extensor exercises) which did produce some positive results but didn't provide a complete fix. I've since discovered a wonderful little device called FLEXBAR from TheraBand along with the Tyler Twist exercise which appears to have me on the road to a full recovery. I’ve since been able to get a few relaxed 2K rows in, not breaking any records here but it’s good to be back in the saddle!

Cheers,

Good for you for sticking with it and getting better. I worked with a few people with these types of injuries. My buddy John had the golf elbow. Funny thing, he did play golf. I got to him during his off season and so we were able to work together with friction treatments and dumbbell work. I never did get my dumbbell back. Oh well, he was worth it. He was a very good friend. Grin.
Have fun.

Thanks for the info on the Thera Band - sharing it with some of my golfing buddies who get golfer's elbow!

Image Oh the fevered pitch here in Denver ! It's Orange Friday!

One of the traditions that most don't see unless they are lucky enough to attend a Broncos game in person is the Broncos mascot Thunder being ridden down the field. I am putting a link to an older Youtube clip of Thunder and his trainer - a lot of time and effort has gone into the horse and his training. Thrilling to see in person, and the video captures some of the magic, too. Took four days to get Thunder to San Francisco due to our snow storms, but he has arrived and is practicing! And more trivia: while Thunder is the animal mascot, there is also "Miles" the human-powered horse in costume.

Janice is having RowPro issues. If anyone has tips send them on to me and I will share with her. I can say it was working very well before all these updates. It was even working correctly a few days ago too come to think of it. Hmm.
Have fun and rock on.

It's been 3 years since attaining a personal best in any race catagory, but I broke my pb in the 60 min. catagory yesterday at the mile high sprints. It was a great personal achievement for me having had no treatments for my nhl (non-hodgkins) for over a year now, I feel stronger now than I have over the last 2 years.
GO BRONCOS!!!
