Jodi wrote:Just wanted to check back in with the forum. I've been away for a couple of years :o I was in New York (Staten Island) helping my son care for his young children while he went through a custody battle and divorce. Long story...but he came out on top, if there ever is a winner in a situation such as this. But it took two full years and a lot of time away from home and rowing to say the least. I found a gym on Staten Island, but not one near us that had a Concept II rower (I tried to convince them to trade in the piece of junk rowers that had for Concept II, but to no avail :) ) Anyway, 2 years and two surgeries later I am reunited with my rowing machine and slowly getting back into rowing.
I am looking forward to reconnecting with you guys :D

Hi Jodi. I've been a luna Tic for just over a year now. Naturally others might say 50 years but you can't believe everything you hear right? Mom isn't always correct, is she? Welcome back.
Keep on Rock'n and rowing.

Very cool indeed. Mom was telling me about a guy who did this recently as well. Being a brave sort I told her that I'd take on any darn swimming pool. I can't imagine what would be involved in doing such a feat as this.
Not that mighty Thor.

Whoop, whoop and wow ! Tristan's using the erg to get ready for an even stronger football field performance next year! I think this might be his first million meter season, or certainly the earliest he has made one million in a season! Congratulations! We wish you many, MANY more!

23rd Canoe

Post by Thor MW » January 10th, 2016, 3:43 pm

I got the 23RD canoe. Naturally I have to say it. I got mine Can-oe?
What is this number 23. 22 is cool, 24 is really cool for lots of reasons like a case of beer in Canada. 23?
Yes, I know I don't have a pic on my profile. Maybe I will get around to it. Maybe not.
Have fun and keep on rock'n and rowing.

A prime number. I had to look it up since I couldn’t remember the meaning. A prime number is one that can only be divided evenly by itself or one and must be a whole number greater than 1. . I guess I viewed 23 as a bit of a boring number when in fact, it is a prime number. Being prime is good … right?
Thanks BG and happy meters
