About signing on to the team
In previous years, there is often a little hiccup on signing in at the start of a new calendar year. I didn't experience that this year - nor did I see any posting by Concept2 that warned that we had to do anything different.
However, there was one thing that seems different. I know when I signed on or joined the virtual team challenge, I didn't receive a "you have to have permission from the Team Manager" note, but some of you are obviously receiving this. I went into that log in (as it is different than my personal one), and realized that one of the changes at the stroke of midnight was that I had to check a box that allowed people to directly sign on. Before, we had to check a box if we wanted people to ask. Neither Kristine or I ever chose the "you have to ask" route as that seems a bit goofy when you want teammates to be able to sign on.
All who wish to sign on should be good to go at this point. Let me know if you run into issues. Thanks, Norma, for good diagnosis.

Nothing like a team challenge to help you establish or re-establish your exercise regimen...and I know that I was especially glad to be back in the rowing game after a couple of weeks. Looking to hit my ONE millionth season meter later today...stay tuned.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Much as I hate correcting, I didn't row a palindrome yesterday. Bummer. It was 11131 meters. Close but no cigar. You do a great job and it does seem petty to correct, it's more meters than I actually rowed. Go figure.
Re: All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 1.1.16
We have a new lune in the VTC mix. He is my buddy Steve Morris. He is returning the favor of my helping his team in the FTC. I don't know if he will be on the forum or not. Welcome Steve for the ride. I will be back on the grey next week helping out the team.Kona2 wrote:Enjoy the first place ranking while it lasts....or commit to keeping us there!

Oops! I missed the virtual New Year's Celebration. I was celebrating with a simple Bushmills Irish Whiskey and Ginger ale at my favorite local Irish Pub in real world time.
I laughed when I saw the post stating you wanted a KGB coffee. If you monogram my initial, I am kGb. I thought you were referring to me and expected it to be a coffee with Irish whiskey and Baileys. I was partially correct.
Happy New Year to all my Looney Friends!
