Thanks everyone for the congratulations, really not deserved, I'm just plodding along
Speaking of the Cubs, there is an immensely funny song by the late Steve Goodman called" a dying cub fans last request" . If you have a chance, Google or you tube it.

Image The scary season is upon us......join the Skeleton Crew ....

Image Adding to the scary season, the next full moon is Tuesday, 27 October...

Meanwhile, I am perplexed by a logcard issue. The last time I ordered some Concept2 logcards, I think I ordered something like six of them - simply because the shipping charges for one or two seem ever so wrong. For me, when a logcard "goes bad", there's usually a message about can't read data or some such thing. Reformatting sometimes works, but most of the time I just pitch the old card. I was overzealous in selecting the workout I was going to do for each of the last two days, and stopped short of the selected amount. Instead of the logcard showing the actual number of meters, there was nothing, nada, and zippo. I do know how to retrieve the total from the PM3 memory function, and I did that and manually entered the numbers. I thought it was a fluke the first time it happened, and so gave it a try again. Nooooo data. Just to check, I selected the just row feature...and after figuring out that you have to row at least a minute for any data to record, sure enough - there was data on the card. So, the question is...did the latest software revision change the ability to capture the actual amount rowed vs selected or am I just now realizing that this occurs? (Surely not!) I can't be the only one who has had visions of rowing some bigger number than I actually felt like completing... And, no, I don't want to use my phone to track data...rowing is a time AWAY from phone screen...

Season meters as of 177/365 = 61,889,215 m

Total meters on the day = 342,061 m

K2, I just update my software and ever since Ihave troubled uploading data to the computer with the program saying "logged invalid". It takes some time to get it to work. I have ordered some new cards, but it did seem strange!

cheers, Baz
