A member of an indoor rowing team or club? If so, this is the place for you.

Can this one team row to the moon and back?

Thank you, all, for the encouraging words. I also don't know how K2 does it day after day.

Well, the LUNA_TICS are placed at a very respectable 3rd in the Fall Team Challenge.
. . . But stop, hey, what's that sound?
. . . Everybody look who's coming 'round.

Being from NC, I guess I'm a little closer to the Greenville Indoor Rowing team, but I shouldn't be close enough to hear them breathing. :o
... Whoa, I wrote that sentence last night, thinking I would get a jump start on this morning's post. Now I'm hearing a Booooo sound from Free Spirits. I'd better get some more Halloween candy.

Methinks I see another little band of crazies at Masochists, Inc fighting off some bigger teams.

Dig deep, me hearties.
And Yo Ho, Yo Ho! A Lunie's life for me.

WELCOME to rower/skier Thomas Rafter !!! You have definitely come to the right place to investigate the shape of time. Our astrogator, K2, knows a lot of cool tricks in that arena.

Thank you for the warm welcome and astrological heads up. I am looking forward to sharing posts with others who can smile at incongruity, that is, provided I can find my way back. Believe me, it was a real challenge getting here even after I registered for the C2 forums! I would have given up had I not received an email from Michael Winegarden telling me he posted this welcome. I have no idea how I did it. Tom

Hi Dean. Being in an affiliation doesn't automatically register you into a team challenge. They're separate. To register for the team challenge, log into your C2 logbook, click on the "Teams" tab on top. You will then see a section for the current Team Challenge, and you can register with the LUNA-TICS team.

And I should also mention how you see the Team Challenge results.
When you are logged into your C2 Logbook, click on the "Challenge" tab at the top of the page.
On the Challenges page, you will see a link called: "View the 2015 FTC Standings".
Here is the direct link: http://log.concept2.com/team/teamStandi ... e_index=59
When you click on that link, you will see the standings of the teams.
And, if you click on a team, you will see its members.
And once you are registered in the team challenge, you will see your name among the names for our team.

WELCOME to Trista from Wenatchee, Wa.
I just had to read how Wenatchee got its name. No dust settles on Wikipedia on this team:
The city was named for the nearby Wenatchi Indian tribe. The name is a Sahaptin word that means "river which comes [or whose source is] from canyons" or "robe of the rainbow". Awenatchela means "people at the source [of a river]". The city of Wenatchee shares its name with the Wenatchee River, Lake Wenatchee and the Wenatchee National Forest.
Robe of the Rainbow... what a great name.

Crikey, I’ll need to re-introduce myself.

After running around the mountains (didn’t quite achieve my goal of an 8,000m peak - yet) and the Australian Outback over the past couple of years, I decided to get back to basics and onto the kayak and indoor rower – I’ve been missing it…

And what better way to get underway than the Fall Challenge (yep, I’m a little late to the party ).

Trust all the Lunatics are going well…!

Cheers, Baz B)
