Your cute puppy's dad is very handsome. I immediately thought "Dauntless." (Guess which movie I watched, recently!) But, that's a difficult call name, unless you morph it into something ... Dante? Or, how about CHET ...Drivetofast wrote: This is DAD.

Going to the dogs...! Get week three meters in really soon...because week 4 is almost here!
Welcome back to Walter! Always good to see returning names on the roster.
I downloaded the numbers early today, and then went off to do other things - so the numbers are from this AM. Also good to see new puppies (eyes aren't even open...and ribbons around their necks too).
Season meters as of 111/365 = 44,153,681 m
Total meters on the day = 2,714,221 m

So I've taken up photography as a 2nd hobby (2nd to rowing, that is). Two weeks ago was a blue moon. I wondered what would happen to the Lunatics if we landed on a blue moon. Attached is a photo of the blue moon over Asheville taken from Craggy Summit on the dawn of August 8th. Also a photo of Beaverdam Lake near our home that same morning. Made me want to row in the water. But with my last name (Drown) I have to be careful about these things!

Good photos! It is difficult to get a clear shot of the moon - you got out of the city lights and got some great shots!

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 8.20.15
Last day to get week 3 meters...
Can you interpret "tail wag language?" As the tail wags....we're all forever trying to figure out what our pets are trying to communicate to us through their canine and feline mannerisms. Suffice to say, that especially with dogs, a wagging tail does not necessarily mean that the dog is a friendly sort...when your favorite K9(s) are taking you for a walk and you encounter an unknown K9, you've probably seen the gamut of tail wags (and other activities). I see that the illustrations did not include "the bunny in the yard stalk" or the K9 100 m dash. Similarly, for those of us with both species, the tail of the cat is quite expressive. Again, the illustrations also don't include what I call "science fiction kitty" - arched back, tail hairs at full extension, and sideways bounce. Neither the cat or you knows what it means.
Season meters as of 112/365 = 44,782,847 m
Total meters on the day = 629,166 m (wowzer....some found their download cables, and some were stratospheric achievers!)

Great pictures, Ross !!
I never picked up on the significance of your last name before .
Were you the one who started the expression, "ergs don't float"?
