It sure is! Qualifying for and running Boston is one of the few things on my bucket list that I've actually done. I have my poster from the 2005 BM hanging by my rower for inspiration. The words on the the poster sum it up well: "Some finish lines just mean more than others. It's what happens at Boston". Congratulations again Barb :!:

The good thing about rainy and overcast kinds of days is that the photo colors, especially when one of our favorite runners is wearing neon green shoes, really pop! A rainy Boston Marathon....but lots of cheering and supportive spectators!

Hello All!

As March came to an end, so did my frequent erging. For whatever reason, when I'm not erging as much, I don't check the forum as often. I am a real world rower and the weather is finally nice enough to be back on the water. The more I row, the less I erg. This means you won't hear much from me until December when I am off the water again. (I live in New Haven, CT. Our on the water season is basically late March to mid-November.)

Don't hesitate to send me a personal message if there is something you think I would be interested in hearing or if you have a question.

I wish everyone well and happy erging!

Karyn

Image Take care of those whovian peepers, Danwho!

Spring is sprouting...in between snow storms that is. Time to get the pumpkin seeds going (yes, we have to wait a bit later in the year to do this), and work on keeping the rabbits and squirrels and those little vole rodents away from what will be THE BEST PUMPKIN ever.

Season meters as of 357/365 = 124,073,212 m

Total meters on the day = 258,728 m

Good luck!

No rowing today for me either. A blood donation day and I did the double red, so I need to take it easy for 24 hrs. What is really cool now is that when your blood is used you get an email telling you where it was used. So far I know my blood was used at the North Shore Medical Center in MA and in Skowhegan, ME.
Now I have to go online and register for free Red Sox tickets. If I win, I get to go on the field and be recognized with other blood donors. How cool is that :D :?:
