You're right, Ron - that weather report looks almost daunting! Hopefully bg has picked up her Marathon poncho - runners did have to buy them - so she can stay warm while she's waiting for her wave to start. And I know from personal experience, as do many of you, that the ever available plastic trash bag works well in the absence of something more fancy. One of the things that we also use on some of the cold, wet bike rides is a pair of food service plastic gloves to keep your hands from freezing. Since bg is a verteran of many different Bostons, pretty sure she's had to run in lots of conditions. Hope she can get connected back up to us before tomorrow's race!

MORE COWBELL !!
bg's wave doesn't start until 11:15 AM EDT. There are four waves, and she is in number 4. If you want to get mobile updates on bg's progress, text Runner to 234567. You will receive a message asking for her bib number which is 26588. Message and data rates apply. And, to watch bits of it all on your computer.... it's http://watchlive.baa.org/ The race just started, and the streets are packed. Weather looks really good for this race!

Bg's on the final TWO k of her marathon - and it's been a long run. She's been averaging a steady pace. Send MORE COWBELL thoughts now...although the finish line must surely be in sight!
Whoop, whoop and hooyah for bg !
