All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 4.16.15

Post by Kona2 » April 17th, 2015, 10:52 am

Gooooooooo bg !! We will certainly track your progress (as we have in year's past) during the running of your THIRTEENTH Boston Marathon! You're going to be awesome-r!

Image

Meanwhile, there is ANOTHER marathon challenge to be gearing up for - whether you're headed for the half or the full moon! Yep, the Global Marathon Challenge kickstarts the new erging season. Some of our teammates can complete these with no worries! Others of us will have to build some meter base in order to get it done, but it's ALL possible. Great colors in the Global Marathon Challenge logo - might have to order that tee shirt....which means....I'd have to COMPLETE at least a half....whoa. Still, the great thing about having completed at least one of these babies is that you are not afraid of them anymore! You are absolutely certain that you can do them. I like that feeling.

Season meters as of 351/365 = 122,493,777 m

Total meters on the day = 241,883 m

Hmmmm, given your reputation, and you know you have one, if you're not starting until 11:15, I'm wondering how many miles you will run before it starts... :)

Thanks Kona! An my apologies to the team for my lack of meters in the last two challenges. I have been working through several shoulder and forearm issues. The PT is finally helping and I've been able to get back on the rower the last few weeks. Also try to loss the weight the 5-7 pounds I put on during the time I wasn't able to exercise.

Boston Marathon running Barbara aka bg sends a big THANKS for all the encouragement and goooooooooo bg's. In what I call her own form of pre-race excitement, she has gotten herself locked out of the forum for posting due to password issues. She is resolving this, but wanted to make sure everyone knew that she really appreciates our support!
