I have been plagued with many issues of late including computer and knots in my back that would kill a lesser man. U

have you looked into purchasing a back roller? I purchased one from my local Academy and I love it. It has helped my with my releasing a lot of knots in my back.
It's basically a way massage your back in the comfort of you're own home.
