All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.3.15

Post by Kona2 » March 4th, 2015, 11:53 am

Image Day 4 of Mudness Madness !

Image Richard T has ALMOST returned from his stint in the US Navy with more millions in his meter piggy bank than when he went off to sea. That was just a teaser roster appearance since Concept2 wants its Military Challenge folks to stay deployed until the end of the week. Congratulations on achieving a top three in the world ranking for the Military Challenge!

Meanwhile, Concept2 has announced TWO winners in the drawings held.... that list can be found at http://log.concept2.com/challenge/mudse ... rs2015.asp
No Lunies on the list just yet, but that will happen! I'm sure of it - especially since our whole team is saying "pick me! pick me!" Nothing like the prospect of earning some free stuff just by throwing down at least 5000 meters, which is good for us anyhow. With 1600 miles of the US swept by winter storm, why not add a few meters here and there!

Season meters as of 307/365 = 99,373,309 m

Total meters on the day = 8,045,117 m

MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:

7.65 MM Richard T

Shaun the Sheep(top rung) is a very funny cartoon series. And there's even a Shaun movie coming out this year. I'm sure it's adolescent humor...

I know Shaun (so named after he was shorn) well. I'll have to look for the new movie.

Loonie friends, one of my real world rowing team friends shared this link with our club. If you are not familiar with the Crash-Bs (that our own Barbara G. participated in), I highly recommend you watch this. It is a great overview of the event.

At the 1:00 minute mark of this video you will come across a gentleman in a white sleeveless t-shirt grimacing his way through his 2k piece. That is Harry another one of my real world teammates.

Image And here we are for Day 5 of "As The Shamrock Spins"...spin that erg wheel 5K times and get entered for a prize (although none drawn for yesterday...yet)...

While I was SURE that Lynne C would be crossing the shamrock-lined finish line of ONE million meters yesterday, it appears that she is teasing us with this one...so we will be on the lookout for her milestone sometime in the near future....maybe even as we virtually speak!

Season meters as of 308/365 = 92,094,151 m

Total meters on the day = 395,761 m
