A member of an indoor rowing team or club? If so, this is the place for you.

Can this one team row to the moon and back?

Thanks man. Thanks to everyone else as well. I ordered the shirt and pin today. I think C2 has the prizes in the wrong order. First, I'm gonna need new shorts before 15M. Secondly the bag doesn't come until 20M Shouldn't that be the first one so you have somewhere to put the other prizes? haha I am of course kidding. I think C2 are wonderful for even having prizes at all. What a great company.

Congrats on the initial mill Thor - great work! (The first one is always the hardest!)

Hi all, the 26th of January is Australia's national day... so happy Oz day to any expats in the Looney world!
Here's a little clip that adapts the song "Hey ya" just to help set the mood!: http://youtu.be/rMdbVHPmCW0

Congratulations Thor, Steve and all you intrepid canoeists :!: I'm sorry to say I haven't contributed much in the past few days. I don't know if it was climbing up on the roof to unplug a frozen sewer vent, playing contortionist in a crawl space to thaw out a frozen water pipe, stretching to reach a cleanout to run the plumbers snake down a clogged pipe or just hauling in firewood, but, whatever it was it has prompted a visit from my old cousin Cy from Attica   I hope to get in to see my chiropractor today. It doesn't look good for my goal of earning the coveted bathtub. Oh well. As bg is fond of saying; "Man plans, God laughs". Good luck to all my team mates. I will be cheering from the sidelines :D

Image Day 26 of 31....six days to contribute including today...

Welcome to new year round teammate Erik S.

The ULTIMATE Yank My Chain Award:

It is VERY hard to get ahead or stay motivated when it "appears" that meters are disappearing. I record the numbers. I respect that fact that some of our Challenge team members felt it necessary to quit the year round team. I respect the fact that those individuals could stop entering meters once that decision was made. One of the reasons that there is a sign up and can't leave deadline of January 15th is just so we don't "cook the books" at the last minute. Every day now for the last week or so I've been watching the scenario below play out. Meters are being withdrawn to the tune of greater than 600,000 m from the Challenge team's totals. Can anyone offer an explanation ? And, yes, if I had had email addresses, I would have reached out differently to ask this question.

I'm trying Thor, but I just may run out of time  I just got back from the chiropractor. I'm scheduled to have some x-rays. He is concerned because I have no reflexes in either leg (none at the knee, none at the foot). For now he wants me to limit my activity to gentle stretches and periodic application of cold and heat. I'm champing at the bit, but have learned from previous unpleasant experiences that rushing things will just make it worse.
Wednesday I go back to the plastic surgeon to see if there is anything that can be done to get some movement back in my injured finger.
If I can be back I will.

Wow! hang in there row bro. I guess the rest of us are just going to have to pick up the pace a bit. So everyone row an extra 1K for the Do Ron ron man.
Now be sure to give the surgeon the finger. No wait, Surgeon give Ron the finger? No, not quite right. Oh, you sort it out. haha

I'd also be interested to know the "logic" behind the continuous team-changing and hummingbird mentality of the sub-team; and TimbukToo would probably appreciate that information, Too! There are no tangible awards or incentives for virtual teams, other than our own personal milestones, so it's not about loot. Do they have a team captain that's making these decisions on behalf of the group? Whatever.

Meanwhile, great job on all those canoes and bathtubs ... our Armoonda will look awesome when it sets sail.

Maybe I am missing something? Isn’t the only ways to reduce one’s meters is by there being a problem with the C2 site or by deleting meters from your log page? If one changes teams, wouldn’t that subtract all the meters and move them to the new team? Perhaps a Q for the good folks at C2. I know I’ve had to repost races as they didn’t show on my ranked workouts page. I think twice at least I had to do that.
If people are leaving this wonderful team full of such nice people … Oh well I fully agree with the man above himself.
Be happy LT

Wow Ron, ouch, ouch, and ouch.
Get well soon!! I suspect you might have some souvenir from Scotland that might help a little with the healing process.
Hindsight, of course, is always 20/20. But the next time there is a frozen sewer vent, I hear there are people who are experts in deflating frozen masses without climbing on the roof, so that everything passes more smoothly.

(Hey, taking no sides, but I saw the joke sitting there.)
