I've kept my garden fenced off ever since K9 Kona discovered the cucumbers as a puppy. They were a great chew toy. Just discovered the first pumpkins of the season hidden in all the vines ! Whoop, whoop ! Let the orange season be brought forth!

I'd never heard of the Crossfit Games....the search for the fittest people on earth. This is a three stage process to get 50 to 100 qualifiers. One of the key elements is that there are surprise events - the athletes do not know what the test will be, and thus cannot train specifically for it. Kind of like life !

Btw, the next couple of days will be busy busy in this household, so I don't plan on putting numbers together until Tuesday.

Season meters as of 87/365 = 19,726,996 m

Total meters on the day = 193,170 m

Teammates in the boat = 85

700 K Minnie

Steve G 10,000 m
Stephen 10,506 m
Minnie ImageImageImageImageImage m ...hula hula palindrome...a repeater number !!
Barry 11,558 m ... a double double with an extra!
Kevin 14,005 m
Gail 17,000 m
Richard T 18,938 m
Ed 50,104 m

I'm with you. This will be his last year competing as an individual (or at least, that's his plan), and I really wanted to see him do well, and I was so disappointed when it looked like we were headed for a wash-out. So glad to see this.
