I keep looking for the ransom note....hahahaha. Another one of the deep space mysteries.
Does OD have a summer-rec team? I can only imagine what that does to your Excel spreadsheet!

Speaking of pet sitting, several years ago, I agreed to feed and water a cat for a friend while she was on her honeymoon. The first day I went to her place to feed and water it, the cat attacked me and I retreated to the nearest room with a door. So I found myself barricaded in the master bedroom, bleeding from 2 puncture wounds on the leg, and no way to get a hold of anyone. For a while, I thought I would be trapped there until someone realized I was missing.

Eventually the cat wore itself out, and I was able to flee the house and come back with long pants.[/quote]
ouch...btw...when you said water the cat my mind pictured you watering the cat like you would a lawn....glad you made it out safely :}

I am sure that the 90 lb lab is in much better shape than the 90 lb Golden (her name is Chelsea). The Goldie is on a diet as most Goldies and labs LOVE to have food at all times. This makes her particularly challenging to handle at feeding times when other dogs (and cat) are slower eaters - although, the cat is defending his food bowl well (and noisily). When this dog launches herself at you, you feel tackled. And, bg, I am still laughing about watering the cat like the lawn. What a fun visual that provided!

Prize pins aside, she already has her flag ready to plant, for when she lands on the moon.
(I'm just rooting for her to overtake certain unnamed Lunatics, before she turns four!)

Somewhat to my surprise, I found that I had not actually posted yesterday's numbers....I merely dreamed that I had... or something. But I did capture all those numbers yesterday, and have some more for today. Welcome back for the 2015 season to Jeff M. Always good to see returning teammates.
Meanwhile, today is the day for what could be the horse race of the century if a certain horse wins the Triple Crown. Excitement and anticipation building all across the horse racing nation. I hear from those who know that security is very high. Out of superstition, we are not mentioning other horses. We are only hoping that like Neo in the Matrix movie that California Chrome is THE one who can do what no horse has accomplished in 36 years. It's a mile and a half race, and it will seem like it is over in a blink of an eye...so don't blink. Apparently the name Chrome comes from a specific type of white markings that are on this horse. I thought it was just one of those "oooo shiny" moments.

Sorry CC lost Richard and other fans. The Belmont is a Tough race.
I saw Big Red (Secretariat) win in 73 . Hated the poor sportsmanship of CC's owner after this race.

I just find it strange that a horse can bring the country together. Never hang your head CC
