For any slow rowers like me wanting a movie that fits well with a half marathon, Terminator 2 seems the right length. And it's motivating if you're a slow girl rower--if you get tired, you can tell yourself that the more you row, the better chance you'll have of looking as buff as Linda Hamilton! (I suppose Arnold might be motivating for guys, but he doesn't seem the rowing type...) Not too much dialogue to have to try to hear over the rower, and lots of crazy action.

Oh and there's also that cool RO-bot connection....!

Ok - here's the deal. We are clearly a team that cheers all our teammates on through all the milestones. We send positrons out into the virtual wilderness to SHOUT out all the good stuff. And we respect a teammate's wish to be off the grid, or maybe to be a former teammate. We hope they will come back, but until they do, we leave them alone. When a teammate says they wish to not appear on the roster of a Challenge, it will say "Name Withheld." I try not to take it personally, but I think I do anyway because I don't always understand what's going on or if I wrote something I shouldn't have written.

You are so upbeat and so great about celebrating all our achievments, both great and small, I can't imagine anyone taking offense. I know the good wishes and the incentives have helped keep me going through a couple of painful and frustrating months (No rub a dub-dub in the tub, but I hope to not finish "Up the creek without a paddle ) I have said it before, but I don't think it can be said enough-Thank you for all you do Your efforts on behalf of this team are nothing short of amazing

Day 26 or 27 of 31..... Blaze of Glory Days

Hooboy! Whether you're a Bruce Springstein or a Bon Jovi fan, you gotta be loving the blazing numbers that our teammates are putting out there! So far, seeing a couple of red giants today(greater than 50K in a day --- including one from Jim!), AND yesterday's four full marathons and NINE half moons. Woot! It's the meter trifecta (don't know whether we can really call it a trifecta, but it sounds right)! This team is ON FIRE!!

Thanks, everyone, for all you're doing and saying! Not looking for kudos - just want to make sure I stay on track (and Jim and Ron's puns are worse than mine ... well, most of the time ). And ro-bot ...voodoogirl throws one out there for us, too...

The inlaws are gone so my rowing room (which also happens to be the guest bedroom, craft room, TV room, and my husband's office) is free again.

I'm going to have to look into cordless headphones. Sounds good. I'm usually not opposed to subtitles but I tend to get nauseous easily and reading while going back and forth and back and forth and... you get the idea... is probably not a good idea for me.

Concerning wireless headphones; I got a pair about 6 months ago. My wife said it's the best money I ever spent since I tend to row at 4:30 AM and with the TV Vol set to 80 she didn't get much sleep.

Very easy to install. Plug and play. Just remember to mute the TV, Home theater etc.
Cost Don't remember but for sure but $39 seems to ring a bell.

I seriously cannot imagine such a terrific accomplishment! Makes my butt sore just thinking about it! Wow! I'm in awe. Congratulations Jay I was going to take the day off, since I just spent 2 hours driving back from dropping my husband off at the airport, but am now guilted, er, I mean inspired, to go get some more meters in and get closer to my measly 100,000 for the month. Two more days of rowing and I should be able to get in my canoe.
Enough stalling, I'm off to my rowing machine
