IF SHE SCOOTS (up and down the slide) YOU MUST RECRUIT :!:
Recruiting efforts were successful and she's joined the team on the CTC site :)

First day at the Alexandria, Virginia Erg races (World Indoor Rowing Championships 2K tomorrow).

Paul Flack of the Forum Flyers 1st in the 60-64 30' row with 8,101 meters. I had the good fortune to cox him to the win, a hard fought battle with surprising lightweight Frank Vetrano (8,071 meters).

Tomorrow Paul & I take on the world in our respective divisions in the 2K. 60-64 Hwt for Paul and 70-74 lwt for me.

I told my sister about the Pete Plan and the CTC two days ago and yesterday she sends me a picture of two Model E machines sitting empty and lonely at the 24 Hour Fitness she goes to. As of this morning she had already downloaded ErgData, figured out how to work the PM5, and ranked her first 5k! She is coming to town (lives 200 miles away) next Monday and the plan is to get her signed up and do her (and my) first CTC. We aren't the fastest (yet!) but maybe we can get a couple more boats floated :D

Cheers Lindsay, I was a little late this year reporting. Jet lag from Virginia to Boston must have gotten to me.

Great effort Jack.

Terry and I have done the 2k IRL TT tonite - his was 7:32 (which is only 3" slower than last year which is pretty cool) and mine 7:04.2 - slow but got it done!
Both should adjust pretty well I guess

Edit - Terry was adjusted to 6:00 and mine to 6:17 so happy enough
We need one more to get our 8/8

Terry is leading the overall "Best Man" at the moment.

Well done Jack, that's an amazing achievement!

I'll be doing my IRL 2k tonight - been out of it for a few weeks - it won't be anything special :)
