LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Wowzer!
Wowzer, Mitch! You've got enough good news there to fuel you all the way to 2 MM and beyond! Once you've got your own erg, you'll even be tougher to catch up to on the meter totals! Congrats on a blue sky day!
NINE MILLION METERS
Woohoo! Nine million meters!! Way to row, Luna-Tics! Moon must be getting brighter!
hope the move continues to go smoothly.....barbarabig maq wrote:Congrats to all you guys. There seems to be so much going in its hard to keep up. My house sold in a week and I got what I wanted for it. Found the right people at the right time. All the inspections are done and I close on the 25th of July. I start in AZ on the 18th of August. Busy busy busy. I hope to hit my 2M mark before I leave. My membership at the Y runs out at the end of the month. Obviously when I get settled in AZ the thing to do is to get my own erg. See ya all in China. Then... TO THE MOON!!!

So, K-2, d'ya think it's safe to use graphics again?
Chris
Use of Graphics
Chris,
Based on input from Concept2 (i.e., site security programs in place to ward off bad bugs) I'd say go for it....unless it is more of the Uff Da duct tape warrior....then the use of graphics should contain a warning....

2.000.000 meters
Dear all,
This is my first posting so it's nice to introduce myself first. I am Peter H. as shown in many of the meter contribution posts before. Real last name is Huurman. I am 35 and live in the Netherlands. Most of the time I row in the gym of my company. They have 4 Concept2 model C rowers there. One of them is considered mine since I have rowed at least a million meters on that one in the last 9 months. The rest of my meters I rowed in Juarez Mexico. I started rowing in the Desert just across the border of El Paso Texas.
I participated in at Crash-B twice. Once as "Mexican" 2007 and once as Dutch 2008. The reason I joined Luna-tics is that I married in April a Luna..... My wife lives in Juarez Mexico and that has become my second home. My Concept2 model D is also there. I bought it new this year in the US and shipped it to a friend in El Paso. A rower in the US is less then half the price in the Netherlands. I paid "only" 850 USD in the US against 2020 USD in the Netherlands !!!!
Today I reached my new personal milestone 2.000.000 meters.
Greetings to all
Peter.

Re: 2.000.000 meters
Hi, Peter Huurman, nice to make your acquaintance ... and congratulations on your 2 million meters. So, how many languages do you speak? I'm guessing Dutch, English, Spanish, and Texan, for starters!nl07695 wrote: I am Peter H. as shown in many of the meter contribution posts before. Real last name is Huurman.
