I saw it on the ship of course. I was over in Bristol on business, took a walk along the river, happened to look across at the ship and said (in my best imitation of my 17 year old son) "wait...what?"

So I thought that the image was to move to a museum. I guess it either isn't going to happen, or will not happen after all.

I don't understand why they had to remove it. They say that it was to preserve it, but the ship is being refurbished in dry dock and will then go back to it's current location in the harbor. So why not refurbish the painting with the ship and keep the image in it's original location; it was a landmark.

These people have no sense of propriety.
