Welcome new team member Ron J ! We wish you many great rowing sessions and lots of good camaraderie! And cool weather to row in.

Maybe the humidity and the temperature will fall as the clock approaches that midnight hour....Minnie's Rowing Time...

Still, all this thought of temperature and humidity sent me down the bunny trail of heat index...A measurement of the air temperature in relation to the relative humidity, used as an indicator of discomfort. The heat index is higher when high air temperatures occur with high humidity, and lower when they occur with low humidity. Kind of an important thing to keep an eye on with its caution zones, and extreme cautions. Even with the current 21 percent humidity of Sacramento, the perceived temperature is still 107...and that is a very toasty number. Sorry. Can't help it. Have to pacify the inner geek.
Lots of great milestones to celebrate today...including bg's chart topping 1.5 MM meters, and a row by our team princess Anais. Peter G - I don't have an answer for you on the rowing skiffs. Our late team member Daryl (aka DuluthMoose) would have been all over that answer. If memory serves me, I think Moose would have suggested that you get in touch with the Paddling Associations (
http://www.paddling.net) - although these are more for canoe and kayakers, I think they would be able to direct you to some folks who are knowledgeable about rowing skiffs. Also, Karyn Gallagher is one of our on the water teammates, and you could send her a message.
Season meters as of 71/365 = 29,886,624 m
