Winter training has officially started. At the end of this, my legs will look like an Olympic sprinter's but feel like a newborn baby calf's.
Now, by "feel" do you mean your own internal subjective perception of their state, or do you mean how others would experience them through palpation?

Hey all, have not been rowing much lately and when I do its a consistent 8500 meters. On weds. night, yes Thanksgiving eve my wife was put in the hospital with complete renal failure and we almost lost her. She is now on the road to recovery and I have gotten 1 or 2 rows in to keep my sanity.

I hope your wife recovers quickly and fully, and that you and your family can get through this difficult time to better days ahead.

I bought a foam roller because it was cheaper than the quotes I got for manual palpation.

Had a similar scare with my wife last year. It definitely puts things in perspective. Please let us know how things progress.

I know that last year we squeaked our way past $150, but this year seems like it will be well, well beyond that. First I was going to set a team goal of $350, but after applying Izzzyan Fuzzzy Logic, I decided that was still too low! So, I'm setting our team goal at $400, only because I dare not dream beyond that for now. But, we're hungry for more, and we'll see what it takes to STOP THE HUNGER...

Here's our progress, for now:
Team Holiday Challenge Earnings, after Sunday: $13.99
Diane M : $5.00
Michelle S : $2.15
Christa K : $1.93
Scott R : $1.53
Rosita D : $1.35
Anita H : $1.02
Marie B : $1.00

Team Holiday Challenge Earnings, after Monday: $19.37
Diane M : $5.00
David W : $2.35
Christa K : $2.17
Michelle S : $2.15
Scott R : $1.73
Rosita D : $1.51
Anita H : $1.26
Marie B : $1.12
Ronnie M : $1.05
Rivka L : $1.02

So we're going from squeaking by $150 to $400??? We do have some very strong rowers this year so perhaps you have something there. Row strong team!

I haven't been on the forum lately, but I'm rowing, and plan to top 200K for the challenge, so there's $8 from me. Is my math correct--we need 50 rowers to each hit 200K to get to the team's contribution up to $400? Plus the $.02 for those who hit 100K. I'm aiming for 300K in December, and I'm on track to hit seasonal 2MM by mid-December.

Wishing you all a happy holiday season, and good health to you and your families.

Probably feel like veal, but look like a mountain range. Strangers will stop me on the street and ask to touch them. I will encourage this.
