Wish I had time to row more than the 5K, but between work and kids, there just isn't enough time.

The less good news is that we've only got 95,000 meters - sorry folks! Each of us did what we could, and it's still a good day!

Total time for the 95K = 7 hr 29 min 7.9 sec

even though we didn't get the 100k, still enjoyed being challenged...thanks again everyone and yeah celtics...one more to go.....barbara

Way to rally, last-minute rowers. I assumed that we'd throw out the "midnight Eastern time" deadline after discovering that virtual teams don't count anyway!

Shall we to do this again, sometime? It was a good in-house challenge and obviously generated some personal PBs. (It's hard to remember PB and not BT ... swimmers go for "best times.")

Great Effort in yesterday's team row everyone!

A last second rally even!; with at least 7 PB's for the day! Fantastic! I think we can call this event officially an unofficial success! I think many found motivation, team spirit, personal achievement, a little adrenaline rush, triumph, and a little drama in this exercise. I'd like to see the team do this event again; maybe on a quarterly basis if enough of you feel the same way.

Thanks for your participation and great effort yesterday!

Jan,

I wish you a wonderful ride! We just started biking, so maybe one day will join on a longer ride ;).

Thanks Darryl for suggesting the 100k challenge! It was quite motivating.

I guess the next challenge is the June 21 21k.
I wonder whether 21,097m (half marathon) would qualify? This way I could "hit two birds in one row," as I am not too god in the half marathon department ;).

Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers on the team, and everybody's Fathers!

Happy rowing!

I think the quarterly team row is a good idea! Will try to do it whenever I am not traveling.

Happy rowing!

Andrea, I believe you can do a half-marathon that day, and it will be picked up by the challenge. I recall C2 even suggesting people go for that extra few meters in the past.

Have a great ride Jan!.

Thanks to Darryl for coming up with the idea for the 100K team row and to you and him for coordinating it. I agree with others about doing it again.
