LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Just cashed in my March Madness certificate. From here I have to quit both March Madness and WEC participation. Tomorrow morning I'll fly to the other side of the world for three weeks. But I was lucky my employer allowed me to travel on the 26th so I was able to just complete the Challenge. Happy to check-in for the Marathon Challenge in April.
Good luck to all Lunies that are still in the March Madness race.

Well done Rebecca, and congratulations Sarah!bg wrote:wooo hooooo rebecca.....Restless wrote:Finally, with the rowing done today I reached 2 million lifetime meters! Nice work Peter H - Hope your travel is enjoyable. I have four days of March Madness to go, thanks to work interfering with my social life...
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
I will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two weeks and then travel further south to Tierra del Fuego for a week.bg wrote:nl07695 wrote:Just cashed in my March Madness certificate. thanks, ron...you did a great job with the stats.....
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Good for you, Dave. I've blown all my "excused days" on out-of-town grandbaby gigs. No cush left at all, if I want to stay alive in the 10K Madness. Would it be cheating to row my "tomorrow's" 10K tonight and finish just after midnight, as I leave in the AM and won't be near a rower tomorrow!? (I'm pretty sure that I lost two days credit that way, by ending my current-day row after midnight. This Pacific Time location is definitely an extra challenge to we late-night "crawlers" ... thanks, Wim.)Dave_H wrote: I have four days of March Madness to go, thanks to work interfering with my social life...
Thanks, Ron, for taking over the baton pass, and posting our stats. Kona's dog-mofit LLBean flip-flops are tough shoes to fill, but you rocked it.

I agree, thank you so much for posting the stats Ron.bg wrote: thanks, ron...you did a great job with the stats.....
Also, congrats to all those that have completed the March Madness challenge already. Have three more days to go for myself, though the plan is to not take any more days off for the month.... hopefully

He's A Meter Multi-Millionaire...Again
Woohoo and hooyah! Congratulations, Danno, on achieving a THREE million meter rowing season. We wish you many, MANY more!
My thanks, too !
Echo echo echo echo....thanks very much for keeping the meters lined up, Ron! Great that you could help the team celebrate all the milestones. You did a fine job of it!bg wrote: thanks, ron...you did a great job with the stats.....

Madness !!! Day 26 or 27 of 31....
52 teammates in the Challenge (and well over 100 rowing consistently!) Congratulations to all who are "stayin alive!"
And, while some adjustments to the probability matrix might need to be made....we have a TRIFECTA of prize winners.
Yes, Chris Squires of the Luna-Tic Challenge Team for the WEC was chosen as a March Madness Prize Winner a couple of days ago...and that makes THREE people out of our crew who have won. That's not only amazingly cool, it's also one of those probability numbers with like a less than one percent of a chance of occurrence. I think. If Nancypants can turn the AP Stats class loose on the database, we might get a more definitive answer.
And......and...so many things to celebrate! Welcome, Brian C, to the year-round rowing team! Brian's been rowing with us on the WEC team and has now joined us year-round. Here's wishing you many good rowing sessions, and continued good camaraderie!

To All,
Thanks for the congrats. It has been a very adventurous season this year. Originally the goal was 5 million but after the forced absence from July to November I am happy to reach 3 million. I haven't been posting much lately because I've had my head down trying to reach 25 million life time meters before the season ends. I am happy to report that goal is now within site.
There are some amazing numbers being posting and congrats to all who have achieved personal goals.
