All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.15.12

Post by Kona2 » March 16th, 2012, 3:01 pm

Tomorrow is St Patrick's Day (already in play today in the southern hemisphere)...and there is a special numerical request. Several of our teammates have good cause for celebration of this day, and would like to ask if those who are interested could end their rowing sequences with a "317". It's a happy 40th anniversary for Chris and AJ (wowzer!), and it's also a WEDDING Day for Collin D. That seems like a good planetary alignment...and to add to it...it's K9 Kona's 9th birthday. Best wishes to all !

Good stuff!

Season meters as of 322/366 = 170,986,148 m

Wow...congratulations AJ & Chris!!! Colin D - all the best, K9 birthday wishes, and congratulations to Rebecca on 1mm season.

And saw this after my row (at silly o'clock) so missed the number sequence!!

Might even need to crack open a stout later today...St Pat's day and all. :o

Raining in Sydney, again!

Thank you everyone for the congrats, the million was far too long in coming. Was looking back and realized that nearly all of it (almost 976k) has been rowed since the beginning of November  Embarrassed to admit that I ignored the start of the season... this next one will be better!

Been fighting with a cold so I was planning on a day off from rowing tomorrow, though I may try to get on to log a few meters in (with a 317 of course).

I would like to add my congrats to AJ and Chris, as well as to Colin! Happy Birthday K9 Kona!

Well done Rebecca, and a big 'Onya to Kiba for her mill also.
Kiba, amazed (but in another way, not surprised...) to see you drop a full marathon "out of the blue"! :o Not like you had a big build-up to it...

And a happy St Pats day to you all too!

Thanks, y'all, for the anniversary wishes. As long as we don't want to use the erg at the same time, I'm looking forward to the next 40 years!

Ah - found the World Erg Challenge Team standings link. You go to the Teams section, scroll down to the WEC, and there's a link there to current stuff. Here it is:

Thank you :) I'll be ok, not feeling terrible really. Just have this cough I can't quite shake.

Figured since I was gonna row anyway, I may as well do a *full* one. So in honor of the day... 10,317 :D Tomorrow can be my day off.

Also, congrats to Ron on the 7 million meters :!:
