Woohoo! You've just rowed the fastest 2K, 10K, Half Marathon you've ever rowed! Or the greatest distance in 30 or 60 minutes! It was a great effort and a sweet moment to savor! Now how can I share this personal best with the team??

I've noted the distance milestones because they're visible to me - and easy to call out. I'd like to add a segment for personal bests (along with the milestones), but would definitely need your help identifying these as they are generally not visible to me....although I have been known to peruse the ranked workouts every so often... suggestions??
Jan,
Maybe the good folks at Concept routinely monitor PB's (since outstanding rows have to be verified) and if they do monitor, they might be willing to send the team representative a notice if Luna-Tic members can be identified?? Otherwise I think the only way for you to routinely discover that a PB has occurred is if the rower voluntarily reports it to you. The page breaks in the ranked rowing lists won't allow you to do a simple Windows find command because you have no way to deal with an entire list. And doing a copy/paste of these pages into Excel to create entire lists in order to compare over time is way beyond time limitations and expectations. You or Khristine may have authority to enter Luna-Tic members personnal log and hit the rankings tab to see all ranked workouts for that rower, but again you would be on a very time consuming fishing expedition to do this.

And since we are talking PB's: are there at least 10 of us interested in rowing a 10,000 meter row all on the same day for a Luna-Tic entry for the 100,000 meter team ranking workout?

I'm game for a 10k row if it's on a day I'm available. I'm getting my house ready to sell and I've got a boundry waters trip this month from the 14th to the 20th. Other than that count me in.

Team 100K m ranking? Good idea, Darryl! Our team rows the most meters on Thursdays - how about Thursday the 12th? Do we have 10 people? I count Darryl, Mitch, Dan, Barbara, AJ, Chris, Jan thus far. Unless I missed someone, I think we need 3 more.

Season meters as of 37/365 = 5,368,155 m (at a 10th of the way thru the year)

Total meters on the day = 107,072 m

29 percent of our oars are in the water!

Half Marathon alert!

MILESTONES:

200K Rodrigo
100K Peter H
Half Marathon - Dan (14!)

Thanks to today's rowers:

Dan 25,737 m
Rodrigo 18,284 m
Chris 12,000 m
Peter H 11,026 m
AJ 8,986 m
Tony 7,777 m
Steven 7,142 m
Peter G 6,000 m
Pat 5,087 m
Barbara 5,033 m

I wonder if this is a real campground? Anyway, posting will be delayed tomorrow as I am driving up to Wyoming to retrieve the tent trailer - it winters in a friend's barn! Should see postings in mid-afternoon!

Jan - I must of had a senior moment all day yesterday - failed to enter my daily meters. So they will be doubling up with todays effort.

Mitch - Good to know there's another canoeist aboard! You were wise to not choose this past week for your BWCA trip. It's been really cold, nasty weather up here since last Monday. Hope you get favorable weather, tailwinds on travel days, and cooperating fish for your upcoming canoe trip.

Significant interest in doing a 100K team row! Thursday is fine for me if it works for 9 other Luna-Tics. If there are less than 10 of us - an option is to up the meters to everyone who can row. But I think we would post better group time by having more folks rowing fewer meters to reach the 100,000 mark. Some logistics to discuss: Jan I assume the rowers would all set their PM3's or 4's for a 10,000 meter row, and just email you the time down to a whisker of a second, and you would combine times and make the group entry? Or what would be the preferred way to do this?

I will be at a conference this week returning Thursday the 12th, so please count me in, as I am positive I can do a 10k row before midnight.

Happy rowing!

Andrea
P.S. I checked on line and the hotel (Marriott Anaheim) does not seem to have a Concept2 (the Hilton has a model E :(....

Hey Dan,
I think this can be done A nonny moosely. Only Jan and you really have to know your 10K time. All the rest of us need to know is the cummulative time for the team effort!

Wow, we are almost at 10 rowers for this with Andrea and Tim joining. Thanks everyone.
