LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
And another FULL marathon...think it's a FIRST...
Woohoo and hooyah! Walter has completed a FULL marathon, too....and I'm pretty sure it's a FIRST ever, too. Yes, lunar marathon fever has swept through the crew.... Nice finish time at under three hours, too!
And NEWS FLASH ...
He's already completed another FULL marathon today.... whoa!
Lunar Fever....they've got it !
Meanwhile, we've got half moons and full moons popping into orbit all over the place ! And, because these are all grand achievements even if they aren't first EVERs, glad to put some virtual fireworks out there !
FULL moon over Alaska as Cathie rows another full marathon ! Woot!
FULL moon over Arkansas as Jim rows another full marathon ! That's quite the beard in your new photo!
Half moon for Minnie as she completes 27,000 m in a 24 hour period! Woot!
Half moon in orbit over the Czech Republic for Anita as she completes a half marathon ! Woot !
Half moon in orbit over the Czech Republic for Christa as she completes a half marathon! Woot !

Woohoo and hooyah! WIth a FULL marathon, Jay sends the erg meter over the SEVEN million meter mark for the 2012 rowing season! And another full moon orbits over Arkansas !
And I'm pretty sure that Jim K has indeed delivered another FULL marathon ...and already added 22222 meters today, but we'll get to that...
Also massive congrats for all the half and full marathons that have been rowed recently. It is very inspiring and motivating to see them all, whether it is the first ever or the 50th
Life is not about learning to survive the storm, but rather learning to dance in the rain.
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Nice setup Dave! I'm jealous .
Congrats Peter on the 10k! That's quite the accomplishment given your situation. I wouldn't just try the HM yet though. But you'll get there.
And a 7M rowing season Jay. Whoa!
All this talk of marathons seems to have put the team into marathon fever. I'm not sure on whether or not I'll go for a HM tomorrow or not. I should, but have light flu-like symptoms at the moment so I'm a little sore all over. Didn't seem to affect my rowing this morning though. We'll see what I'll feel like tomorrow I guess.
It's just mind-boggling the number of milestones and big meters that are being rowed at the moment. And it seems so quiet on RowPro whenever I look .
And I hope that if anyone went to the Crash B, they did great (or are doing great if they still have to row). The competition there seems fierce, and it's fun to watch, especially if a person I've been rowing with online is in one of the runs. I don't see myself in there anytime soon. I'm way too slow. For now .

Wowzer, mates....I've been expecting that this one would happen sometime this year - and it caught me off guard anyway! Woohoo and hooyah! Congratulations, Mario Jackson, on completing your first EVER half marathon. Knew you could do it! We wish you many, MANY more!! Takes a lot for anyone to finish this distance, and seems even more special when one of our young rowers gets it done!!

Seems fitting that the 50th anniversary of John Glenn's orbit around the earth would occur in a Leap Year.... the Mercury capsule was really quite small...and there were quite a few leaps of faith that occurred on this journey...

Way to row Mario J. and Barb!
Sorry I dropped off the edge without warning. It has been a busy few weeks, and I just couldn't keep up. Life has normalized now. I sure missed the daily team talk.

Enjoy Peter... I actually don't use the big screen that much, as being an older plasma, it heats the room up like a radiator! Will be good in winter tho...
