4200 is nothing to sneeze about, Alison! Every single meter counts and maybe counts extra when you're rowing with injuries.

Michael, you're more than welcome to the 300,000 goal! I missed it by a few thousand during the Fall Challenge.

To reach the 300,000 this past month, I tried to row 15,000 most days, but I got lazy, skipped a couple of days and had some lower-meter row days (like last night when I didn't feel like rowing after a concert). I still reached the goal anyway.

I'm going to take it easy until Thanksgiving (5000-10,000 daily), but I will look at my totals on Thanksgiving Eve and make a decision about a goal for the Holiday Challenge then. Right now, I'm thinking that I may shoot for the 2 million mark for my goal by the end of the Holiday Challenge (and probably crash the whole week after!).

Good luck!

~Linda

PS It's really seeing Timbuktoo doing so well in the rankings! Thank you for a great team effort!!

Okay, so I took TWO days off this week after reaching my 300,000 goal. I have to admit that in some ways it felt good. There are 12 days left before the Holiday Challenge, so I'm going for 100,000 goal during that time (about 8333/day). If I do 300,000 for the Holiday Challenge, I should be able to get past the 2 million mark before the end of the year.

Everything depends on how well I can deal with my hectic schedule (men's and women's basketball has started!) as well as my many aches and pains, but without a specific goal in mind, it's harder for me to row regularly.

Keep rowing hard team!

~Linda

Hi Fellow TimbukTOO-ians,
Everyone is chugging along on their rowers and contributing to the team- I enjoy seeing Pat's daily updates and watching for milestones for teammates. So fun!
I had five days off the first week in November because my doc told me to "take it easy" for awhile  . Having realized that not exercising makes me grumpy, it's game on again! I'm just not rowing with as much intensity as before. I'm at 33 weeks now (~7.5 mos) and rowing is a little bit awkward with my big belly (see my profile picture if you want some amusement  ) Some days I use the elliptical at the gym instead of my indoor rower at home. It's a nice change of pace for me and doesn't put any pressure on my belly.
Linda, Tim, Alison, Pat and Michael- congratulations on knocking down some goals (milestones) and thanks for your efforts (sorry if I missed anyone). Let's have a great holiday challenge!! I think I can do 100,000 m and I'm certainly going to try!
Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Cindy :)

Hi Cindy!!

Great to "see" you.
Love your new profile picture!!
It is amazing how you can continue to row with baby on board
It is keeping you in tip top shape.
Take good care of yourself and our little future TimbukToo-ian there :D
