So my card reader stopped working several weeks ago and I've been too lazy to post meters to the logbook manually. Not sure what's wrong with the thing and have tried several fixes with no success. I'll post all the meters as soon as I am able to resolve the problem.

Hello Ron,

Is this on Windows or OS X? I've been unable to use the reader on OS X for a couple of weeks also (I believe since the last system update which I installed May 15th).

I've been using the Windows version in a VM for now until they get it fixed (I still don't see it listed as an issue anywhere though).

Regards,
Lee

Yay, did a 5K! I decided to try the jump from 2K to 5K, since my cardio stuff (bike, stair climber) showed good heart rate, so it was a matter of not overdoing my elbows. Did it in 19:10.4 (1:55.0/500m), feel fine. Try 7,500 Saturday night or Sunday? Let's see...

What's wrong with using a cable straight to your PM3, uploading thru the Concept2 utility?

That would entail getting a cable, which I don't mind doing if I have no other choice.

OS X it is. This often happens after an upgrade, but I don't remember upgrading recently. I'll have to wait for C2 to fix the problem - I don't have any other machine that will work. My company issued Windows laptop did not allow me to install the utility.

if you have an iPod/iPad or iPhone you could use the ErgData App (http://www.concept2.com/service/software/ergdata). I use it every day for rowing and it is great; you upload via WiFi with a touch of a button and the data is validated (as in "IND_V" or "C2Log"). and it provides a lot of interesting statistics while rowing.
