Don't mind my comments. I get a little whacky trying to think of things to say. The "doggin' it" comment was from your K9 Cop moniker, not what I thought your rowing performance was!D6K9Cop wrote:Whaaaaaat, doggin it (lol)...Sorry interval day..

I think I can I think I can I think I can.........
The middle-aged engine that could! (I don't post a lot, but fellow TimbukTOOers, I couldn't be staring down 2MM this season without you. The challenges, the advice--it's part of the reason I keep climbing on the rower, even when I don't feel like it. And I always feel better for having rowed. So, thanks! Now let's go full steam ahead on this challenge! NINE MORE DAYS TO LOG KILOMETERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Great rowing Team TimbukTOO and TimbukTWO!
It seems I have some kind of tendonitis in my lower left Latissimus muscle ... Happens every time I get sick and row through it. I think it is caused by coughing and rowing at the same time.
Or just from being old!
Anyway, I am bumming because I have already dropped my Season goals from an even 4 million to 3.65 Million (so I can average 10K per day). I think I will make it, but probably "by the skin of my teeth" as my Gram used to say.
Interestingly, it doesn't hurt when I SkiErg, so I may have to cut over to 100% SkiErging for a while ... For me, that is a lot harder!
I hope your rowing seasons are going well for you all!

I hope your rowing seasons are going well for you all!
Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
I had a stomach bug a little over a week ago then had company in town. Now back at it. I put in a mere 5k today and plan on meeting my 100k goal by the deadline.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
You'll never guess what I did this weekend.
It was cold, windy, and rainy all weekend in Dallas for the Bachman Lake Annual Sprint Trials. Despite this, I won gold in the Men's 1X Rec, silver in the Mixed 2X, and silver in the Men's 4X. Dropping 30 pounds since January and having my novice year behind me has helped a lot.
There was less than 1 second between our 4x and the next finisher (4:03.43 vs. 4:04.11).

PaceBoat lurched ahead unforgivingly, mocking his efforts.
