David A - Our crew is an independent sort..we noticed that you supported your Luna-Tic side in completing the Blue Moon rows! We get a little more looney when it's a full moon!

MILESTONES!

And while some of us may be trying to figure out how best to fit rowing into our lives on a year round basis (especially on blue sky days!), today's crew propelled us forward a little closer to the moon! ImageImageImage

marypat wrote:Hi Fellow Luna-Tics

Today marks one year of rowing for me--1,958,153 meters! I am lighter, stronger, and more flexible than I was when I did my first row of less than 700 meters. I wish I had bought my erg sooner (maybe 20 years?).

The team party got me visiting the team room. What a blast! I am starting to feel like I know some of you and the support is outstanding.

Mary

Thanks to those of you who sent congrats for my 100K this season.
Kristine, the doves and the lofts are magnificent!
Mary,

Soon to pass the 2M! Congratulations for all the wonderful milestones!

This year I am trying to have a 2M year. Little compared with other fellow LUNA-TICs, but a lot for somebody who did not count meters initially, as did not think will ever reach the 1M ;)

Happy rowing!

Andrea

Place Name Age City State Country Distance Time Source
1 Andrea Cosmin 50 Santa Clara CA USA 2000 8:30.3 C2Log
2 Chris Tudury 58 Fair Oaks CA USA 2000 8:46.7 C2Log
3 Gina Levy 49 Los Angeles CA USA 2000 8:49.2 IND

To the moon, ALICE, to the moon!
Gina,

Thanks for noting the stats. I will keep this, as, since then, it changed...

1. Elaine Dawson 59 Norfolk VA USA 2000 8:00.0 IND

Really great time! Not sure I will ever get there... but worthwhile trying ;).

From my perspective, any improvement of PB is good!
And most of it is thanks to fellow LUNA-TICS creating a good "rowing current."

Happy rowing!
