A bunny trail of the mind...sort of.. You would think that in seeing the first photo that the pavement heave was quite visible. Yet photo 3 shows that a cyclist approaching with some speed wouldn't necessarily see that this was going to present problems. We've had skull fractures, broken collarbones, and a few other serious injuries at this location...photo with green markings was posted, but no specific location given. So, after the BTWD festivities, a couple of the guys went in search of the location, found it, marked it with spray chalk...and got the coordinates. I called it in to that county's Public Works department, and we'll see if they can make a repair! Be careful out there - even when you're riding the paved bike trails.

And, danwho sent me this bunny trail related comic:

Happy to report that crews were on site to repair the concrete heave the day after I reported it! Big assist from county bike/ped who helped reach out to the county the issue was in! Clear Creek Trail traverses multiple counties and municipalities - probably much like trails in your areas. Take a photo with location turned on so locating the issue is much easier! Anyone can make this stuff happen.

Welcome back to Pat B! 83 Lunies on the roster!
