One of the Bike Jeffco guys lives at 9000 ft. Last night's snowstorm dropped 20-24 inches of the white fluffy onto his property. This guy keeps 3 snowblowers operational. The snow depth was such that he could only use the John Deere since the snow level was over the bucket height on the other two. The addition of the protective hood was a cool thing - I always get soaked up at the mountains when snowblowing. Winter. It's real.

So. Nothing like an hour and a half of shoveling to start the day! It's all good - at least still capable of getting it done!

The March Mudness Madness Challenge is second only to the Reindeer Challenge for the Lunies - everyone is a little bit Irish! We have ONE WEEK before the March Mudness Challenge begins, so consider this a preview! Everyone loves free stuff, and during the Challenge, Concept2 selects random members of the Concept2 universe from those who have completed either 5K or 10K (10K awards not given each day, but quite a few times). Prizes vary from day to day, but will include Concept2 T-shirts, Rowing Shorts, and Hats (prize value ranges from $18-53)! One or two winners are selected randomly per day for each day of the drawing. Often there is at least ONE Lunie who is picked among all the gazillions who participate globally. For us, if you row 5K or more...you're getting a shamrock icon. If it's a 10K, it's a pot of virtual gold.

5,000 or more meters = shamrocks!

10,000 + meters = pot of gold!

You've got to get at least 25 days of 5K or 10K into the mix to finish the Challenge - and it can be difficult to manage your personal calendar.
