One of the more meaningful celebrations that Concept2 has is the Million Meter one...each member of the Concept2 universe knows when they get the coveted gym bag filled with goodies, or the first million tee shirt, the 10 million meter sweatshirt, and so on. But the rest of the universe doesn't get to see those metric tallies ... unless the individual gives a shout out ! Celebrating meter millionaires and multi-millionaires is probably unique to this team. We even created an orbiter status for those whose lifetime meters are equivalent to taking a trip around the earth...40,075 km...and gave it a symbol.

After a bit of research I have come to the conclusion that I'm dealing with a hip flexor problem that's also affecting my back. I still have an appointment for PT later this month to see what the professionals say, but since it hurts, regardless of whether I work out or not, I figured I might as well add some meters to the Luna-Tics total for the challenge.

No, I haven't tried that. No access to a pool, but I do have a gym and some equipment at home that I can use. Like you said, "do what you can do", so I'll do my best to help myself heal. Thanks for the encouragement!

You’re welcome but truthfully we should all thank mardix who is obviously off earning his 0000 palindrome (the number is a palindrome, but like the tree that falls in the forest that no one hears….the palindrome that doesn’t register as an effort generated number cannot be seen or reported!). If mardix hadn’t asked about the meter millionaires, I wouldn’t have taken the time to go back and forth on the affiliation summary. It is a very cool list, and the Lunies have some impressive ergers! I hope that it is motivational to you as it is to me!

Maybe if you're a resident of Minneapolis or Chicago or somewhere in WIsconsin you're "used to" temperatures that hover for DAYS in to minuses. We've had quite a temp swing here from 30s to minus 20s (with windchill), and the dogs are not happy that walks have been canceled! If the Bills-Steelers game has been rescheduled, can the Chiefs-Dolphins game be far behind?! Inquiring minds.
