Oh no, sorry to see you go Elizabeth! You're an incredible rower, excited to see what you do moving forward!

I thought I would get this month's CTC out of the way while already sweaty and tired after playing tennis for 2 hours, not realizing that we are now missing our top female rower! I'll see if I can get a more rested row in over the weekend, especially since it's set to rain for the next week.

She just finished the 5th challenge. Not sure, but she might have moved up into 1st place overall. Have to wait until a second heat takes place to be sure.

Terry and I had a good go at the CTC tonight and we were pretty pleased with it - probably the best session for a year or more for me and managed to get very close to MHR (169/172) which felt great. All neg split from 2:05 to 1:59. It's a really good training piece I reckon.
Looks like fitness is returning though booked yesterday for the second knee replacement May10 which is a set back!

Four Foolish Flyers - So far four of us completed that April Fool's Challenge (It's all fun and games until the last five days).

Now that I've finished that I will turn my attention to the Cross Team Challenge. It's on my schedule for Saturday when I have a bit of time and energy to get back on the erg again. (I did give it a try on April 1, but I had a bluetooth failure and the app disconnected after the first interval and I gave up ) Doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in the April CTC from the rest of you Flyers either. Perhaps the weather is too nice for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere. Perhaps some of us are concentrating putting the meters in for the Team Challenge which ends today.

Descending distance ladder. Who could imagine giving that a miss? The post-lockdown diaspora is who.

Last month my lumbar region squeaked out a question and sciatica replied at some length. So I sat out March. Now got that tendon sheath stiction in second joint of both ring and middle fingers of right hand. Do they call that trigger thumb finger lol? Makes them hesitant to uncurl and then they snap smartly to attention. That don’t seem right. Not particularly painful but will see the orthopedic guy in June. In the meantime not going to do much IR but I think I can mail in a gentle 2.8k with prescribed naps as usual.
