I wish! But it seems like any time I start to really use my legs, I get the jolt of pain or, end up with the right hip/butt pain worsening considerably. So sedate rows are probably it for me. Better to be able to row slow on a more regular basis than rip one out and not be able to row for a month.jackarabit wrote: ↑July 6th, 2020, 11:04 pmSnazzy pace progression, Cynthia. Lit up the bulb in that third split you did!
Even if the eventual injection helps calm the nerves, the underlying problems'll still be lurking when it wears off. I don't want to make things worse, that's for sure!
The hard part is not going all out when I'd really, really like to! I freaking HATE seeing my name last on that CTC leaderboard, LOL!
But I like being able to walk more! If the eventual injection doesn't work, probably looking at surgery to avoid permanent nerve damage in my legs. I hope an injection can help me move around a little more, with less pain for awhile. Maybe then I could lose weight a little easier. My doctor thinks weight loss might help some with my back, so I'm continuing.
On that front, I saw 193.2 for the second time this year this morning. So I think I'm making progress, just very slowly. When I hit 190, I'll take a maintenance break.
