Thanks for adding the old yearbook, Doug. Great photos of Henry J. and those present at the creation [circa 2001-2] of “Forvm Flvers—since 2005.”

Zak from Texas, USA. Started rowing as cross training for running on 4/17 but really liked it. Now I row more than I run LOL.Since then I rowed half marathon, and meters to date are just passed 300,000. next stop 500,000.
yes welcome Zac - a lot happening at the moment - hope you enjoy the ride. There is a very talented Aussie/Egyptian musician that shares your name (nearly) Joseph Tawadros.
Yes, heard of the name, same heritage. We both are Copts from Egypt originally. LOL

Doctor Google found it with "Bayko Forum Flyers" when I switched to the images tab. My Google-fu was being strong at that point.

Everyone is welcome to offer suggested additions, or provide useful forum links to add to the general section. I think I caught all the typos, but please point out any you find.

Wow! Thanks for the Blast From The Past. You da man Dougie!

It was great to see some of our members from the past, or maybe just taking a sabbatical. Rumor has it that former Capt Steve Green may be making a comeback as a 70-year-old. I hope it's true. I miss Dave Parkinson's humor and helpful training tips too. Wish he would make a comeback.

A bit of trivia for newer members. Beth Lawrence is the one who designed our team logo.

Good points. Thanks Chris, will make those changes (and take the version number out of the file name). Actually, would appreciate a steer on the Nonathlon update. I took another look and can't decide what to change :).

Six boats floated In CTC today. Bench emptied. CoVi new member Intake slightly under-represented cf. to Series VIII. Also await the promised contributions of Clan Moores and Clan Hay.

Took Martins advice and gave the 1 min another go with a fly and die strategy. +9m from last try and more important; sub 1.20 pace.

Well done, great improvement, the fly and die strategy feels terrible but it works!

I'll give it another go next week and hopefully beat my PB, 388m needed to get our boat on 3rd place atm :)

wow congrats man. Thanks for saving me the energy to have another go. I was planning to attack your previous score because I thought I just might make it and bump you off the first boat. But this is out of my reach! well done B)

Thanks both!

Hoped for something like ~375, so 379 was a real positive surprise!
