Post by dave65 » March 1st, 2020, 8:44 am

hi, looking to join a team for extra motivation and challenges ,just recently purchased a concept 2 model D.
just turned 55 and i'm looking to regain some of my past fitness, was a racing cyclist in my younger years but i'm very unfit at the moment.
would like a team that uses the forum or email to communicate as i dont do face book, thanks.

HI Dave -

The Luna-Tics (our goal is to erg to the moon) is an open team - with teammates of many different abilities. Check out our forum page under the teams section, and see if we would be a good fit for you.

Forum Flyers are also a very welcoming bunch, if you feel like checking out other options. We also have a team thread going on the forum.

Cheers
Dave

Hi Dave
try the Forum flyer thread just on this sub forum - we are mostly non FB and from all around the world and you would be very welcome. Normally 3 to 5 boats on the CTC and a regular 20 or so on the C2 challenges (there are 3 a year).

This is true! I'm old, overweight, not terribly fit, have a bad back, so my rowing is limited and the Flyers have made me feel welcome!
