I could eat three boxes of Samoas right now. Those things are delightful!

Thanks for the information about RAGBRAI. I'm actually thinking about doing it or maybe just 1 day of it. Never heard of it before. I live in western Illinois around 80 miles south of Clinton IA.

Carol is indeed training for RAGBRAI, too! BikeErgs are quite wonderful pieces of equipment - completely different workout to an indoor rower.

We hit another team meter milestone (105 million team meters!) AND welcomed two new Lunies yesterday. Welcome to Jan K of the Netherlands, and welcome back to Chuck E.
Glad to have you on the roster!

Meanwhile, outside of Tucson, AZ, there is the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum - filled with walking paths, lots of representative plants and slithery things, hummingbirds in a "free ranging" enclosure with a soft chain link barrier, bee condos, and a few animals like ocelots and pumas. I hadn't been there for 20 years or so. The bee condos were very interesting to me...and perhaps they will be to you, too. I guess not all bees want to be part of the hive, and that are some single bees looking for homes. Not kidding. There were several bee condos set up on the Museum property, and it looks to be a good, and inexpensive project. Worthy but not quick.

Welcome Jan! Glad to have you aboard. I started rowing in September 2010. Last October, I picked up the bikeerg and started on the skierg around 6 weeks ago. Now I wish Concept 2 would make another erg so I could get it too. My idea is that they make a handcar erg - a railroad car that you power with the pump handle. I'm pretty sure it won't happen, but I want credit if it does.

Wow, quite a lot of accomplishments in a short amount of time. Nice to see you on the Luna-Tics roster Jan! The Netherlands is a beautiful country. My husband and I stayed for 3 months in Amsterdam back in 1987-88 and met some very wonderful people. Here’s to your continued success in your Concept 2 endeavors.

hello! my name is susie, from pittsburgh, pa, and i recently switched my team affiliation to the luna-tics. i’ve been rowing for almost 3 years now, just trying to stay in shape. my former team wasn’t really a team, so i’m hoping to help contribute and get some motivation in return!
