Re: Forum Flyers
well done Dave
I am hoping to have another go at the 10km before the end of the month - I am sure there are at least 2 more hiding still
We have our first Boat floated for the CTC - lizh took a bullet for the team and nailed it quite nicely for a non erger @2:17.5 - the 666s all @2:20 and the 333s @2:15 - we got her HR up to 170!

Re: Forum Flyers
Thanks Lindsay.
It's a pity that we're struggling to fill boats this month - possibly the fiddly programming putting people off. I don't have much motivation to have a proper go again, unless I feel like maliciously knocking Graham out of boat 4 to sit on his own in Boat 5
.
Yesterday I did the May 2012 CTC again - it's 8 x 2 min with 2 min rest, but the interesting twist is that you only take the sum of the distance from the fastest and slowest intervals. So you have to go out at a pace you think you can carry through 7 intervals and leave enough to blast the last 2 minutes. I easily passed my 2012 distance, which was done at a time when my only training was 1 CTC a month. The main reason for that turned 8 yesterday
Cheers

Got this trip 6s trip 3s thing set in favorites on stick with Lindsay’s “saving up to rest later” scheme. Inputting this one actually easy but I’m not enthusiastic about doing it. Too much of a lung burner.

BTW - hot off the press
Tommy Gee has communicated the April challenge
It's a straightforward 1500 metres with no stroke restrictions.

Did mine today 40:33.2. Not too good. Legs still sore from a marathon training OTW.
Looking forward to finishing off with a 500 in April

Cheers Guys, have been training a bit more structured lately. Although still not overly much on the rower. Roughly 50/50 row/ski. But once a week 2k ish paced work, so had an idea what I could do. Feel my effort now, next day.....

Re: Forum Flyers
The dog ate my homework.
Actually ErgData stuffed it and froze after #6. Wasn’t going that well anyway as I haven’t been on La Machine since the 17th except 500m to check the results of uploading firmware version 166. May do it again or may just mail it in @ 2:30 pace so I can stay “snuck on” to the top 50 all time Frequent Flyers.
