Passing along an article introducing a documentary about Joan van Blom, called "Kiss The Joy." I was not aware of Joan van Blom (or any other rowers, for that matter) until I started with the erg, and started watching the CRASHBs.
I found her inspiring.

yes...i still exist but between my double training/recovery/taper and not rowing and concept2 not notifying of new posts i'm so far behind on reading the posts...hope everyone is doing well and wooooooooooooooooohoooooooooooo and congrats for all the milestones folks have achieved :] looking forward to rowing again after boston :}

and speaking of boston-if you are near a computer and have free time...i'm lucky bib #26371....a prime number...and i'm in the last wave....

Thanks for the shoutout, Kona! Two million meters was my goal for the season, and although I got off to a pretty good start, by September I was beginning to worry about hitting my goal. Thanks to the C2 challenges and the support of my fellow Lunies, I was able to cross the goal line!
Now I'm wondering what next season's goal should be...
