Zowie, Ed--way to set a goal and meet it!! Belated congratulations!Edscapade wrote:Hi Kona,Kona2 wrote:
Whoop, whoop and take it to the bank....the meter bank, that is! A hearty congratulations to Ed on achieving his goal of TEN million meters in the 2016 season. Incredible bit of work there throughout the year. We wish you many, MANY more years of erging success!
Thanks for the wishes! There were times wasn't sure I could or would reach the goal. It has been an adventure for sure. 10,000,000 meters this year, 30,500,000 life time and lost 25lbs in the process. Great year for me. Good thing not much to do in Qatar... Ha ha. Although going diving with the whale sharks this afternoon, there are 15+ that live near by.
Happy rowing all,
Ed

Maybe a Luna can answer this one... Proudly rowed my first marathon today, thought it would be fun to start off the rowing year by meeting the Global Marathon Challenge BUT it won't load onto the online log book. Flash drive recorded it, It shows up, says 'ready to upload' but won't . Any other Lunies having problems loading workouts today? Related to start of the new rowing calendar year maybe? Happy to say I've done one now !

I went to load yesterday's meters, before going to bed (yes, way after midnight Eastern time) and they're grayed out. Drat, I forgot it was the end of the year. I'm sure I can load them somehow, but that might require search and effort ... has anyone else experienced this and resolved it, already? At least it wasn't a marathon; or anything even close ...
It's a FIRST EVER....and those are very special
There is going to be a new version of the Concept2 utility from what I can read between the lines - and, until then, you can't use the current one to upload any of your data. These are the kinds of things that drive project managers crazy. Hang on to your logcard - I bet the new version will be ready tomorrow. I tried at least twice to get my data to upload, then just went ahead and entered it manually. You don't want to do that with a marathon....and WHOOP WHOOP and CONGRATULATIONS. What an awesome achievement!Steve W wrote:Maybe a Luna can answer this one... It's a whole new year
Get onboard! The good ship Luna-Tic continues it's galactic journey...and we can't liftoff until your meters are listed! As noted above, the Concept2 Utility looks to need a bit of refreshing...it's almost enough to make me take a look at using the erg data app (could it be a plot??!!). I do like the smartphone cradle that I see is offered....stay tuned for additional reports...or if you already have these tools, report out on them!
Meanwhile, my world has been turned upside down by the arrival of the second puppy less than 24 hours ago. My oldie Golden, Kihei, is in failing health and can't play hard like Kai (the 8th month old Golden) wants to play. This one is named Aerie...after my favorite baseball guy Arenado. I am delighted to introduce her to all of you. danwho is going to help me out while we get the new puppy routine down, and will be doing some posting soon.
So far, four people have completed the Global Marathon Challenge - good work!

Re: It's a FIRST EVER....and those are very special
Nice work steve! I didn't have any trouble uploading using ergdata on the IPhone. Another buddy of mine is also having trouble uploading using the utility. I wasn't able to download the marathon certificate or read the honour board but that was a while ago. As K2 states, you can upload manually but I'd wait a day or two and see if C2 waves the magic wand and makes all right with our world again.Kona2 wrote:There is going to be a new version of the Concept2 utility from what I can read between the lines - and, until then, you can't use the current one to upload any of your data. Welcome to The Aerator !!!
Re: It's a whole new year
Congrats to both you & Aerie!! You're going to be busy one busy mom for a while . Also, will heed your and other's advice and see if C2 sorts this out. Thanks to all for your input. Too long a row to have to log it manually/unofficially!Kona2 wrote:Get onboard! The good ship Luna-Tic continues it's galactic journey...and we can't liftoff until your meters are listed!
