And, while I could build a Tardis in honor of the who-ness of the Lunies, I am planting some bulbs of what I call "Horton Hears A Who" flowers that I saw at an event at the Botanic Gardens here. They are giant alliums, a member of the onion family (maybe this will keep the squirrels and bunnies at bay). These things are about 3 feet tall with a globe of flowers that is about six inches in diameter. Can't wait to see what happens with these.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Wow! Nice flower. I can just imagine what a whole field of those would look like.
This getting back into rowing shape business is quite humbling. My first row of 5 minutes was brutally challenging. Stepped it up to a daily 10 min. row after that, and have been gritting through it, telling myself it WILL get better. Seeing some improvement now. That Holiday Challenge goal of 7000-10000 daily meters seems like an impossibility at the moment- like trying to view a mountain peak from the trailhead at the bottom. This is where our forum team room, and the super team support of our Luna-Tics family makes all the difference. The increased team chatter during the Holiday Challenge plus those special reindeer are like a real-time grandstand filled with cheering fans. So I just want to take a moment now to give you all a shout-out. I need you! I appreciate every post each one of you takes the time to make. This is an amazing team filled with amazing mates - supportive, encouraging, and accepting of each and every member as we share life together here. Together we are achieving the impossible!
One of the coolest things about our team is the high percentage of members who have a profile picture and personal message in their log book profile. This shows up when viewing the team roster, and is often where a person looking for a team to join will go to get a feel for what a team is all about. About once or twice a year I make a shameless plug for 100 percent team profile picture participation. A profile picture expresses a bit about who you are, what you like, what is important to you, etc., and does not have to be a picture of yourself. If anyone needs help with resizing, cropping or otherwise putting a picture in the accepted format to upload, or needs help figuring out how to edit their logbook profile, just email our team email address. I'll be glad to help you. Lunaticsteammanager@gmail.com
