Diane,
I'll second that- 3 million meters is what I may hit for this entire rowing year-- if I can stay on pace for 6 more months!
Awesome achievement

And that is an adorable baby picture too!

I too want to congratulate Diane on an amazing performance and giving Darlene a run right up to the final hour. With a machine in her home it unlikely that she was not ready for that final push, especially given her history. It was great watching the two women go at it day after day. I as especially pleased to see 5 LTA's finish in the top 100.

Stick a sock in my mouth! Just saw the update and Diane came back with a final sprint of her own to retake 1st place. And not a small hedge but a significant lead.

And since we ended up 4 million meters ahead of the Luna-tics, even without Diane's incredible 3 million meters, we still would have held 7th place!

Way to row, Team! B)

I stumbled upon this while viewing the SF Giants fan celebrations after their 9th inning victory.

Dude rows a 1:19 500 meters- that is fast.

Diane I just want to say you got a standing ovation here, what a intense competition between Darlene, Glenn and yourself. I wasn't sure who was going to take it till the last couple of days, congratulations and way to stay strong. Thanks Lisa and Izzy for keeping up with all of us, I enjoy reading your post. Awesome job TimbukTOO team!

Thank you all but realize I shall not be rowing for at least 7 days.

You know how when you work out and are sore, but get up and do it all over again and just keep moving to keep the soreness at bay? well, the soreness slammed me today LOL. I woke up and went to get out of bed I am was like OH, ya... I forgot about that after-effect LOL

So, I am gonna let my old bones and muscle rest for at least a week, I think they need and deserve it.

And ya Damsel, that has to be left over as I have not posted any rows in my logbook since the early PST time of the 16th, regarding my 15th's rowings
