Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Attention on the poop deck!
Your first mate was very tired last night and forgot to pull the meters. Numbers pulled tonight and reported tomorrow will be two-day totals.
That is all.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Hi Lisa:
Please reset my goal to 323 K; my shoulder couldn't take the strain to keep up my previous schedule, but after the rest I've taken I should be able to complete the new goal.
Given the above, I hasten to add that the 33 K change you will see in my numbers was not all rowed today; my computer being the evil tempter that underlies my wrecked shoulder, I have avoided it for the past week, rowing 6 k one day, 7 k a few days later, and finally today, back to 20 k with no ill effects--so far. Fingers crossed, that will remain so.
All the best to the team, and commiserations to those still suffering or suffering anew. I liked the bit about some of us having to face a new normal; ain't it the truth! That said, it beats the alternative.

Lisa,
Looking at the board this evening we are within striking distance of overtaking Greenville. The Weekends is where their big pulls have occuuued with an all hands effort in the next 3 days we can leave them in our wake.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Ahoy, team! With three rowing days left to the challenge, we're 260-ish K in back of Greenville!! Great rowing! Can we close the gap? And we still have 6 challenge team members that have yet to post any meters! It would be great to see numbers for everyone by the end of the challenge -- no names... A solid and solidified 41 of 71 members (58%) logged 1,264,134 total meters Saturday and Sunday!

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Been putting alot of meters in on the C2 machine at work and the fact that there is a C2 in the gym was main reason i joined. Go into gym today all ready to bang some meters and someone had broke the chain. How on earth do you break the chain. Major disapointment.

Tres bummer! Well, here's something to make you feel better... Some other "rower disasters"...D6K9Cop wrote:Been putting alot of meters in on the C2 machine at work and the fact that there is a C2 in the gym was main reason i joined. Here the cox looks like she's just out enjoying a nice day in a boat... I love the guy in the boat screaming at them...
You'll believe a cox can fly! At least the boat had a significant weight advantage upon her exit...
Long, but this kind of dedication takes a while.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Like I Said before Lisa you've made this Challenge all the more interesting. Checked with my trainer this afternoon and will try to make up the meters necessary to get into the top 100 tomorrow and save Wednesday for any last minute spurts
