All In A Couple of Days of ERGing: Team Progress Thru 10.20
Welcome back to Reba, Luna, Corben, Howard and Steven D! Always good to see your names on the roster!
Wild turkeys on the hoof ! Saw several bunches of these birds on the drive from Nebraska to Denver....miles of cornfields (now in the mow 'em down and collect the field corn stages), feedlots, and a few roadside attractions. Have seen the Sandhill cranes during migration coming and leaving, but have yet to stop at the Great Platte River Road Archway Monument - a giant arched building that spans I-80 near Kearney, NE. This is proclaimed as the geographic center of the contiguous US states. It's also where the Mormon, Oregon and Pony Express Trails are highlighted. Was in too much of a hurry to get back to Colorado to stop this time....rats. A missed opportunity!
Season meters as of 173/365 = 54,346,451 m

Too bad you had to pass up on the Archway, Jan. It's pretty cool. We used to live in the village of Callaway, about an hour north of Kearney. They host a Kite Flight every summer that is worth going to.
