Hello Team Lunatics!

I have joined in for the fall challenge and look forward to rowing with all of you. I have had my Concept2 for a month and a half or so - but love it! I am at 51k for the fall challenge so far.

Thanks for having me :D

Glad to have you Adam. I got my Concept2 right before the FTC a couple years ago. It's a great way to get immersed into rowing. I love the competition aspect.

Hope you get feeling better soon Ron. There isn't much that will make rowing more miserable than a bad back.

Okay team,
I'm back, and here to work with you all for the greater good. I've been biking and running, but something was missing. Oh yeah. Meters. I should have known. It took a trip back home to figure out what was lacking in my life. Let's go! :D

I'm rowing with a heavy heart as my dog passed away yesterday. My almost 5 year old said, "this is the saddest thing that's ever happened to me in my life". It was a tough day, but life goes on. Well, its about 4:30, so I better get my morning row in before work. I'm sure today will be a better day.

I agree with your almost 5-year old; losing your dog is one of the saddest things.
I'm sorry for your family's loss. Have you come across the Rainbow Bridge poem?

I suppose I have a soft heart and an "Iron Bottom". I suppose that is better than the reverse. Thank you all for your kind words.

Congrats Matt F. on the million meter season :) Way to row!
Brett, sorry for you and your family's loss of your dog. I agree, it is one of the saddest things to happen in your life, especially to a child. Chris (Minnie's) link is extremely helpful to read for anyone of any age. You may want to read it to your child.
Hang in there.
Ron, so glad you are on the mend, and you are doing a great job on stats as always. Thank you so much.

Thanks everybody! Each of you provide a tremendous amount of motivation... just watching the numbers roll in each day from everyone else keeps me going.

Good rowing teammates! :D
