I am an older (65) indoor rower in chicago area. returning to rowing after 20yrs away.would like to join a team which is approp for wife and myself who are planning to do crash b comp allen

Honestly, any team will welcome you I think. We're all here for fun, camaraderie, and encouragement/motivation.
I'm a member of the Luna-Ticks, a fun group with plenty of stories to tell. You're certainly welcome there, but I suggest just looking at some of the threads on this board and look which team you like the most. It's not like you're stuck there either as you can change your affiliation at any time.
Free Spirits have their own website instead of just using the Concept 2 board. TimbukToo (sp?) have their captain who makes fun posts. It's all up to you I guess
